The sides are 8.5mm so the net moves through the water with ease. The base of the net is manufactured with a 2.5mm rubber dipped hair mesh, to avoid the hook or hair from tangling in the net. The softness of the material avoids damage to the fish. The latex dip makes this net even more durable and longer lasting.
